90-year old Man Brutally Killed After Leaving the Bank, Robbed off His Money in Kibwezi, Makueni County

Police in Kibwezi, Makueni county are investigating the death of a 90-year-old man who was Brutally Killed by unknown people, robbed off his money.

According to the area chief Nicolus Mwangi, the elderly was accosted by assailants just after he left the bank in Metava area where he had gone to withdraw the money he had received from Inua Jamii cash transfer programme.

The Elderly was attacked by unknown attackers who were reportedly to slit the man’s throat then later disappeared with the money.

The body of the deceased was taken to Kambu hospital mortuary.

Police have launched manhunt for the suspects who committed the crime.

Inua Jamii programme is under the ministry of labour that targets orphans, older persons and persons with disabilities.
