Teachers Service Commission, TSC is set to employ primary and secondary school teachers on intern in January 2023.
This comes as President William Ruto promised the recruitment of 30,000 teachers by Teachers Service Commission where teachers on Intern are inclusive.
According to the new TSC Recruitment and deployment procedure, the newly employed teachers will be placed in their respective sub-counties after being hired.
However, Teachers Service Commission has reminded all the applicants that Internship Recruitment is done only via TSC portal. The applicants are required to open their TSC portal and do the application by submitting the required details. To access TSC Portal Click Here.
TSC has notified all the applicants that, Intern Recruitment will be free of charge, warning on any fraudulent manner in internship recruitment.
Teachers Service Commission, TSC recruits at least 6000 teachers on internship every year where a primary teacher gets Ksh 15,000 as a monthly salary and a secondary school teachers pockets Ksh 20,000 on monthly basis.
In his address , President William Ruto expressed that his Kenya Kwanza government will prioritize the interest of teachers as well as absorbing more teachers in a bid of curbing the shortage of teachers in education sector.
The government aims to absorb more that 116,000 teachers to teachers Service Commission.
