JUST IN: Suspected Armed Pokot Bandits Have Raided Ekoropus Village in Turkana South, Drove Away Thousands of Cattle

Suspected armed Pokot bandits have raided Ekoropus village in Katilu Ward, Turkana South earlier this morning and drove away thousands of cattle.

This comes following the recent attack of Pokot Bandits who Reportedly killed seven GSU officers and other people at the border of Turkana and Pokot.

Police in Turkana and Pokot  have launched manhunt for suspected Pokot Bandits who have been Reportedly attacked Erokopus village in Katilu ward, Turkana South and drove away thousands of cattle.

Attack cases have risen again in Rift Valley region since the entry of the new government. The former Rift Valley regional commissioner George Mutyambai wrestled with the bandit attack where a downfall was experienced.

Cattle Raiding between Turkana and West Pokot communities has been a talk of history. However, Kenya Kwanza government has exuded the assurance of dealing with bandits in the region.
