KNEC Announces Release Date of Grade 6 Examination Results


The Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC has announced the release date of grade six examination results, informing candidates who sat for grade six examination to expect their results by January 16 2023.

 

 

This comes following the release of 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE on Wednesday 21, December 2022.

 

 

 

Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu said that all learners who did KCPE will be admitted to secondary schools in a bid a achieving 100% transition Policy.

 

 

 

Speaking, Kenya National Examination Council Chief Executive Officer David Njengere said that Leaners who sat for Kenya Primary School Examination Assessment, KPSEA will receive their results by January 16 2023.

 

 

Njengere said that KPSEA will not be used to palace grade six Leaners in junior Secondary School but for monitoring their progress where Junior Secondary School will be domiciled in Primary Schools as directed by President William Ruto.

 

 

 

“Following President William Ruto’s directive that the Junior Secondary will domicile in Primary Schools, and that KPSEA will not be used to place learners in secondary schools, but for monitoring their progress,” KNEC CEO David Njeng’ere

 

 

David Njeng’ere added that a report for individual Leaners for the assessment will be prepared as well as a school-specific report and also national report on school based assessment.

 

 

“We will prepare a report on individual learners for the assessment. There will be a school-specific report and there will also be a national report on school based assessment,” Njengere said.
