KNEC To Return KCPE & KCSE Exam Papers After Results- Parents Seek


 

Parents are now asking Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) ot return examination papers for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) after the release of results.

KNEC has not been returning back examination papers after submission as per the rules and regulations of the examination body.

 

However, Parents are seeking KNEC to return the national examination papers to check out the performance of Students.

 

Most parents have developed the concern of alleged examination irregularities manifested in Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC seeking papers to be returned after exam release.

 

However, in 2022 KCSE Results, some Kenyans allegedly complained on lack of transparency and integrity in Kenyan education, citing that some schools cheat in national examination while punishing students in other schools.

 

Responding to the claims, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said that no examination irregularities was recorded in both KCPE and KCSE Examination.

 

However, the exemplary performance in 2022 KCSE from Kisii region ignited mixed Reactions as schools in the region recorded more than half of “As” out of the total recorded countrywide.

 

Parents are now proposing Kenya National Examination Council to be returning examination papers after release of final results for transparency by check out on the student’s score.
