Monthly Salary For Intern Junior Secondary School Teachers in 2023


 

Teachers Service Commission, TSC has recruited 30,550 teachers in a bid to bridge the gap of shortage of teachers in the country.

 

 

The commission announced the new vacancies last year for preparation to teach junior Secondary School.

 

 

Among the newly 30,550 vacancies by Teachers Service Commission, 9000 slots were reserved for permanent and pensionable terms whereas 21, 550 slots for internship.

 

 

TSC indicated that all the newly 30,550 recruited teachers will teach Junior Secondary School.

 

The recruitment exercise in the sub-counties is ongoing following the end of verification of documents as directed by the commission. The successful applicants will proceed to fill employment forms.

 

 

However, a major concern has been raised on how much intern junior Secondary School Teacher will pocket at the end of the month.

 

 

According to payment structure of Teachers Service Commission, intern Junior Secondary School Teacher will get a monthly Stipend of Ksh 20,000 before any relevant deduction is done.

 

 

Newly Recruited Intern Junior Secondary School Teachers are required to submit Bank plate to sub-county Teachers Service Commission office and other relevant documents required.

 

At least each grade 7 class will have one teacher as per the directive of Teachers Service Commission.
