The government is set to recruit 30,000 new teachers for both primary and secondary school level.
This comes following the move by Kenya Kwanza government to recruit more teachers in a bid of bridging the gap of insufficient of teachers in the country. More other teachers will be employed in subsequent manner.
The interested qualified applicants should submit their relevant documents upon the opening of the application by Teachers Service Commission, TSC. The application is done via TSC website; www.tsc.go.ke in “Career” Option.
However, the newly recruited Teachers on internship will get their monthly salary that is not equal with the other teachers that have been fully absorbed by Teachers Service Commission, TSC.
Primary School Teacher in interns will receive a monthly salary Kshs 15000. It’s a shoot from the initial Salary of Kshs 10,000.
Intern Secondary School Teacher will pocket a monthly salary of Kshs 20,000, an increment from Kshs 15,000 in the previous monthly salary.
