REVEALED: Technique TSC Will Use to Retool Newly Recruited Junior Secondary Teachers


 

Teachers Service Commission is set to Retool the newly recruited Junior Secondary Teachers to adequately attend Junior Secondary Leaners.

 

According to Chief Executive Officer, Teachers Service Commission Nancy Macharia, the commission is set to Retool all the newly recruited 30,550 junior Secondary teachers.

 

However, Macharia has revealed the technique that Teachers Service Commission will employ to Retool All the recruited teachers.

 

A cascade technique will be used to Retool teachers within the sub-county as per TSC CEO Nancy Macharia.

 

The retooling process of teachers will begin this month and will last up to April 2023.

 

Macharia said that all teachers who will be recruited in the ongoing recruitment process will undergo retooling that will ensure that they effective attend Junior Secondary Leaners.

 

“All the teachers who will be recruited in the ongoing exercise will be put on a retooling regime that will ensure they adequately attend to our junior secondary school learners,’’ TSC Boss Nancy Macharia indicated

 

However, in a bid to Retool the newly recruited Teachers, Teachers Service Commission has said that already it has trained 2,376 Master guiders who will train Teachers in preparation to Teach Junior Secondary

 

The commission trained 60,000 teachers last year to cope with Competency Based Curriculum(CBC).

 

TSC is looking forward to retrain 90,000 teachers within this month up to the month of April 2023.

Teachers Service Commission indicated that until all the junior Secondary School Leaners have settled in classroom will the Commission begin to retool of Teachers.
