Teachers Service Commission, TSC is set to conduct mass recruitment of teachers in a bid to bridge the gap of shortage of teachers across the country.
With the change in the system of education that advocated for new curriculum, Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) the government is set to employ more teachers to attend grade 7 and grade 8 in Junior Secondary School.
However, the government will have mass recruitment of teachers for junior secondary school on permanent and Pensionable and internship terms.
Teachers applicants with peculiar features will be prioritized in the recent upcoming mass recruitment compared to other teachers.

Length of Stay
Teachers Service Commission will consider the length of stay for teachers as the key element in the upcoming recruitment process.
Teachers who have stayed longer after the year of graduation will be prioritized compared to those graduated recently. The graduate of 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, will be given the first priority compared to graduates of 2020, 2021, 2022.
Subject Combination
In the recruitment of teachers in Junior Secondary School, Subject combination will not be the most key consideration but will be of importance depending on the subject teachers required.
The subject combination of the teacher will favour him/her depending on the subject required to curb the shortage of teachers teaching a certain required subject.
Persons Living with Disability
Teachers Service Commission in it’s recruitment has been always prioritizing teachers living with disability.
Teachers living with disability will be prioritized compared to other normal teachers as per the recruitment guideline of Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
