This is The Total Number of Teachers Who Have Applied to Be Transferred Back to Their Home Counties


Several Tutors who were affected in delocalization policy have been applied to be transferred back to their home counties.

 

The Delocalization Policy affected about 6000 teachers as several Tutors were transferred away from their preferred Schools.

 

547 teachers have applied to be transferred back to their home counties, seeking to work in their home area.

Kenya National Union of Teachers, Knut on Tuesday said that 547 teachers made a request to Teachers Service Commission, TSC seeking to be transferred back to their home counties.

 

The Kenya Union of Post-primary education Teachers, Kuppet said that they are compiling the list of the teachers seeking transfer request.

 

The secretary general of Kenya National Union of Teachers, Knut Collins Oyuu said that more of teachers seeking transfer request cwill be coming forward.

 

“Several of our members, not many, have already submitted their applications for consideration to have themselves assisted. We still have a data of others who availed the required information and are yet to be re-routed due to logistical issues at personal level,’’ Knut Secretary General Collins Oyuu said
