TSC Announces Where to Collect Transfer Letters for Successful Transferred Teachers 2023


 

The ultimate end of delocalization of Teachers has ignited joy among teachers as many seek to return to their preferred home counties.

 

Teachers Service Commission,TSC is working on processing of Teachers’ Transfer Request as the process will come to an end within the stipulated time.

 

Teachers were relieved after the legislative act was passed in Parliament to end Delocalization of Teachers, ascertaining that a teacher can only be transferred within the zone in home county.

 

However, Teachers Service Commission has already released the list of successful transferred teachers in some counties as other counties experience a delay.

 

Successful Transferred Teachers have been asked to pick their transfer letter from sub-county level.

 

Director of Education in Western region Charles Ong’ondo said that Transfer letters will be send from the regional office to the county level, then counties will send to respective sub-counties.

However, delocalized teachers who had applied for Transfer request are blaming Education officials for allegedly holding their transfer letters, seeking for immediate intervention.

 

Teachers in different countries have stormed in TSC offices in the county, seeking for immediate release of Transfer Letters.

Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) General Secretary Collins Oyuu blamed the regional directors of education for allegedly holding teachers’ transfer Letters.

 

Collins Oyuu has questioned for the reason behind holding Teachers’ transfer letters yet the TSC Regional offices have received teachers’ Transfer Letters from TSC Head Office.
