TSC Comes Clear on Nancy Macharia’s Early Retirement This Year.
Teachers Service Commission has cleared the air on TSC Chief Executive Officer Nancy Macharia’s early retirement claims.
Nancy Macharia has served as TSC boss since 2015 after her predecessor Gabriel Lengoiboni. She’s the first female TSC’s chief executive officer in history of Teachers Service Commission.
Nancy Macharia will serve for the next five years after her term of service was extended by former president Uhuru Kenyatta in June 2020. Nancy Macharia will leave office in July 2025.
Claims has been circulating on social media alleging that TSC Boss Nancy Macharia is set to retire this year. TSC has refuted the claims, asserting that any retirement of TSC executive is officially communicated by the commission.
Teachers Service Commission has raised the concern on fake information circulating on social media impersonating the commission and spreading distorting information about the commission, warning citizens against fake information.
