Teachers Service Commission, TSC has extended the internship application for Junior Secondary School vacancies in the counties of Mandera, Garissa and Wajir for an additional of one week.
Teachers Service Commission had announced 20,000 vacancies in junior secondary schools and primary school respectively.
However, the counties of Mandera, Garissa and Wajir has recorded low number of applicants and the commission has been compelled to extend the application Deadline in a bid of calling the interested applicants to make the application online.
The counties have developed low interest among the applicants due to constant terror attack that iginite fear among teachers. The 2018 delocalization policy also sent many teachers to their respective home counties, deserting the region.
The application of internship Junior Secondary School Teachers is done online via Teachers Service Commission’s online portal. In the application, the applicants is required to insert the required details then select the county and sub-county of the choice.
After successful selection of candidates, they will be called for verification of documents in the respective sub-county TSC office.
