TSC Promotion Requirements for Deputy Principal II and Deputy Principal III


In the new promotion of teachers by Teachers Service Commission, Deputy Principal slot in regular secondary school will benefit as the commission calls upon the qualified interested applicants to submit their application.

 

TSC noted that all application should be done online through teachers Service Commission ‘s online portal, discouraging manual application.

 

However, the commission has set the requirements for deputy Principal promotion in regular secondary school.

 

TSC Promotion Requirements for Deputy Principal II in Regular Secondary School (T-Scale 12)

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

 

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must.

i. Have served as Deputy Principal III or Senior Master II T-Scale 11 for a minimum period of three (3) years.

ii. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.

iii. Have demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers.

iv. Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.

v. Meet any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission.

 

NB: – Candidates in Asal and Hard to staff counties who have served in the current grade for at least 2 years are eligible.

 

TSC Promotion Requirements for Deputy Principal III in Regular Secondary School (T-Scale 11)

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT.

For appointment to this grade, a teacher must:

 

i. Have served as Senior Master III T-Scale 10 for a minimum period of three (3) years.

 

ii. Have obtained a satisfactory rating in the performance appraisal process.

 

iii. Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.

vi. Have demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and provide professional support to other teachers.

 

iv. Meet any other requirement deemed necessary by the Commission.

 

NB: – Candidates in Asal and Hard to staff counties who have served in the current grade for at least 2 years are eligible.
