TSC Sends Latest Warning Message on Recruitment Process of Teachers Ahead of Deadline


Teachers Service Commission, TSC has issued a warning statement to applicants sending application to Teachers Service Commission on advertised posts.

 

 

The commission has warned applicants on fraudulers who ought to operate from TSC headquarters, seeking for money on recruitment process.

 

 

 

TSC asserted that the application is only done via TSC online portal, dismissing any manual application.

 

 

 

TSC indicated that recruitment process is free of charge as no money should be asked for the recruitment

Additionally, the commission blacklisted an email address that was allegedly used to conduct business in connection with the hiring process.

 

“Our email is info@tsc.go.ke and not @tsc.gmail.com” TSC warned

 

 

This comes as Teachers Service Commission announced the recruitment of 35,000 teachers to bridge the gap of insufficient of teachers across the country and the implementation of the development of the new curriculum of education of competency-based curriculum.

 

In the newly advertised posts by TSC, 9000 teachers on permanent and pensionable terms will be recruited to junior Secondary School.

 

 

21,550 Intern teachers will be recruited to Teach Junior Secondary before the beginning of the new year 2023.

 

“In the meantime, 30,550 new teacher recruits (9,000 on permanent and pensionable terms and 21,550 teacher interns) will be posted to handle the Junior Secondary School before the beginning of term 2023,” a statement from the TSC read.
