Teachers Service Commission, TSC is set to commence recruitment of primary and secondary school intern teachers in January 2023.
This comes as President William Ruto noted that his government of Kenya Kwanza will employ more teachers next year, expressing that among the 30,000 teachers to be employed, internship will be inclusive.
President William Ruto who spoke on 12th Wednesday October when he officially opened Komarock south primary school in Embakasi East, noted that his government of Kenya Kwanza will fulfill the promise over employment of more teachers and as well catering for the interests of teachers.
Teachers Service Commission, TSC recruits at least 6,000 teachers each year on intern where a primary teacher on intern earns Ksh 15,000 monthly and secondary school teachers on intern gets Ksh 20,000 per month.
The internship advertisement on July this year attracted 356,000 jobless teachers who were scrambling for the advertised 14,460 vacancies.
All the applicants are required to login to TSC portal and do the application.
