VIDEO: Angry Tea Farmers Cry Foul For Being Bullied by Gianchore Tea Factory Clerk in Nyamira, Calls For Justice


 

Angry Tea Farmers in Kemasare Village, Nyamaiya Ward in West Mugirango Constituency, Nyamira County are crying foul for being bullied by Gianchore Tea Factory Clerk, seeking for justice.

 

 

The tea farmers who spoke to Chipuko Digital on Thursday 7th January 2022 asserted that the Tea clerk attached to Kemasare buying center mistreat them by neglecting their tea leaves over that claim of not being quality.

 

 

The Farmers said that the clerk often neglect the tea leaves number 7,  as they seek to be told the core reason.

 

 

Speaking to Chipuko Digital, the Tea Farmer Mellen Matoka who is the major victim said that she’s not happy with the manner in which the tea clerk handles her tea leaves, seeking for immediate intervention.

 

“I’m not happy with the Manner in which the Gianchore Tea Clerk based at Kemasare Buying center is treating us. Every time I take my tea leaves to the buying center, he neglect it over the claims that he doesn’t buy tea leaves number seven. I’m now streesd up on what to do and even what to pay my workers who plucked the tea leaves,” Tea Farmer Mellen Matoka told Chipuko Digital

 

 

 

The Farmers claimed that on that very day on 26th Thursday, January 2023, the Clerk neglected to buy six baskets of Tea Leaves despite of their effort to pluck the tea leaves.

 

 

 

“Like now the clerk has neglected six baskets of Tea Leaves despite of our effort to pluck them. We need to be told why is the clerk neglecting tea leaves number seven as it happens to me severally,” Farmer said

 

 

The farmers have asked the high authority to intervine and let them get justice as Tea farming is their major economic activity as their source of income.
