Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has suspended Nyambaria Boys High School Principal Charles Onyari has the centre manager amid examination irregularities.

The ministry of education has sent an alert on any form of examination mulpractice on Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) that kicked off on Monday. The ministry of education assured bold security to ensure the smoothest of the KCSE examination.

 

Why TSC Suspended Nyambaria Boys High School Principal as Centre Manager

According to sources close to Chipuko Digital, Nyambaria Boys High School Principal Charles Onyari was allegedly linked to examination mulpractice after some material of KCSE examination was found within the vicinity.

KNEC officials paid a visit to Nyambaria Boys to check on the progress of examination practice where they encountered with examination materials in the compound that were allegedly linked to examination mulpractice.

Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) officials took Nyambaria Boys High School Principal to Nyamira Headquarters to respond to the allegations in a bid of bringing sanity in KCSE examination practice.

However, Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has not responded to the matter following the ongoing investigation.

 

Nyambaria Boys Topped in 2022 KCSE Countrywide.

Nyambaria Boys is a national school found in Nyamira county. The school in the previous year recorded a mean of 10.89 in 2022 KCSE examination leading nationally.

This marked a substantial improvement compared to last year. In 2021 the school recorded 4 A plain and 79 A- scores. In 2022, Nyambaria Boys doubled the figures with 28 A plain and 383 students attaining A-(minus)

In a bid of ensuring sanity and effectiveness in KCSE examination, Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) officials are moving around schools to officiate the conduct of KCSE Examination.

Gekomoni Mixed Secondary School Principal was arrested for allegedly involved in KCSE examination mulpractice. The Principal who is KNEC’s center manger for KCSE examination is ready to face charges in the court of law on Friday.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu warned of any form of examination Irregularities, asking the individuals in charge to be responsible in ensuring proper management of examination.
