According to KNEC, the project-based assessments for six subjectsโ€”Art and Design (442), Agriculture (443), Woodwork (444), Metalwork (445), Building Construction (446), and Computer Studies (451)โ€”will be conducted over a span of seven months, from January to July 2025. These assessments will evaluate students’ practical skills and creativity, ensuring that candidates demonstrate competency in their respective fields.

Following the project-based assessments, the main theory and practical examinations will be administered between 1st July and 1st August 2025. This period will be crucial for candidates to showcase their academic knowledge and practical abilities in their chosen subjects.

Registration Deadline and Important Notice

KNEC has emphasized the importance of timely registration for the KCSE July series. The registration portal will remain open until Friday, 21st February 2025, after which it will be closed. No late registrations will be accepted beyond this deadline, making it essential for all eligible candidates to complete their registration within the stipulated timeframe.

This strict deadline aims to ensure smooth logistical planning and prevent last-minute inconveniences that could affect candidatesโ€™ participation in the exams. Schools and private candidates are advised to liaise with KNEC-approved examination centers to facilitate the registration process before the deadline.

The release of the timetable provides a structured timeline for candidates to plan their studies effectively. Students undertaking project-based assessments should ensure steady progress on their work to meet submission deadlines. Additionally, those preparing for theory and practical exams should use the given timeline to revise comprehensively and seek clarification on difficult topics.

Furthermore, schools, teachers, and parents play a crucial role in guiding candidates through the registration process and ensuring that all requirements are met on time.

With the KCSE July series timetable now available, candidates have a clear roadmap to follow. Proper preparation and timely registration are key to success in these examinations. KNECโ€™s emphasis on adhering to deadlines highlights the importance of early planning, ensuring a smooth examination process for all registered candidates.
