President William Ruto has appointed the new cabinet secretaries after sacking his cabinet recently following the tension in the country.
In media briefing on Friday 19, July 2024 at State House, president Ruto ascertained that his newly nominated cabinet secretaries will help him in driving the urgently needed programs to succeed the government’s agenda.
President Ruto nominated the first batch of cabinet secretaries to be approved by parliament.
1.Ministry of Interior National Administration – Prof Kithure Kindiki
2. Ministry of Health – Dr Debra Mulongo Barasa
3. Ministry of Land Housing and Urban Development – Alice Wahome
4. Ministry of Education – Julius Migosi Ogamba
5.Ministry of Defense – Aden Mbale Duale
6.Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development – Dr Andrew Karanja
7.Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry – Soipan Tuya
8.Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation- Erick Murithi Muga.
9. Ministry of Road Transport – Davis Chirchir
10.Information, Communication and Digital Economy- Dr Margaret Nyambura Ndungu
11. Attorney General – Rebecca Miano
