TSC Selection Panel Checklist for Recruitment of Senior Secondary School Teachers on PnP 


The Secretary of the Selection Panel is tasked with ensuring that all required documentation is compiled and submitted to the TSC Sub-County Director. This process is essential for maintaining transparency and adhering to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) recruitment guidelines. Below is the detailed checklist for submission:

1. Panel Documentation and Selection Records.                                             Minutes of the Selection Panel: Submit duly signed minutes that clearly outline how many applicants were shortlisted for the interview. The minutes must also detail the selection criteria used, referencing the system-generated merit list.

Completed Selection Score Guide: This guide, signed by the panel, reflects the scores assigned to each candidate during the evaluation process.

2. Certified Copies of Applicant Documents.                                      National Identity Card: Include certified copies of both sides of the ID for all shortlisted candidates.                     NCPWD Card: If applicable, ensure the inclusion of certified copies for applicants with disabilities.

Photographs: Two recent passport-size color photographs of each candidate are mandatory.                                  Certificates and Academic Qualifications: Include certified copies of KCPE, KCSE, ‘A’ Level, Diploma, and Degree certificates to verify academic achievements.

Letter of Certification of Results: If required, a certified letter from KNEC should be attached to confirm the authenticity of academic records.  Official Academic Transcripts: Ensure transcripts are certified and demonstrate the academic history of the candidates.

3. Professional and Financial Documentation                           Certificate of Registration as a Teacher: This document confirms the candidate’s eligibility to teach under TSC guidelines.                                                 KRA PIN Certificate: A certified copy of the candidate’s tax identification is required for compliance.

Bank Plate/Card: Provide a copy of the front face of the candidate’s bank card to facilitate payroll processes.                   Duly Filled Pay Point Particulars Form: This form must be accurately completed and signed.

4. Additional Documents              Primary and Secondary School Leaving Certificates: Include certified copies to establish the candidate’s educational background.

Medical Examination Report (Form GP 69): Submit an original report confirming the candidate’s fitness for duty. Acknowledgment of Recruitment Documents: Provide evidence of acknowledgment for all submitted documentation.

This meticulous checklist ensures that the recruitment process is conducted professionally, transparently, and in compliance with TSC regulations. By following these guidelines, the Secretary, Selection Panel, ensures the integrity and efficiency of the teacher recruitment process.
