TSC Explains How Unsuccessful Internship Applicants Can Seek Redress

Applicants dissatisfied with the teacher internship recruitment process will have a clear path to lodging complaints, according to the 2025/2026 TSC guidelines.

Those who feel unfairly treated during the recruitment exercise can file a written complaint with the TSC County Director within seven days of the selection process. Complaints can also be sent directly to TSC headquarters via the staffing email provided in the circular.

The County Director is required to analyze and resolve complaints within a week and communicate the action taken. If an applicant is not satisfied with the county’s decision, they may escalate the matter to the Appeals Committee at TSC headquarters. The Appeals Committee has 14 days to investigate and issue a determination.

This framework provides transparency and accountability, ensuring that applicants have a chance to be heard. By institutionalizing a complaint and appeals process, TSC is strengthening public trust in the recruitment exercise while guarding against irregularities.
