Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has announced that the Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment (KJSEA) results will be released in December 2025. As Education Report Reports, The announcement comes as the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) completes its marking and verification exercise for over 900,000 candidates who sat the exam nationwide.
The KJSEA, introduced under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), assesses learners in Grade 9 before they advance to senior secondary education. It focuses on skills, knowledge, and application rather than rote memorization.
