List of Required Documents to be Submitted to TSC Headquarters for Recruitment of Senior Secondary School Teachers on PnP Terms 


To finalize the recruitment and employment process for newly hired teachers, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has provided a clear list of documents to be submitted by the TSC County Director to the TSC Headquarters.

These documents ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with legal and professional standards.

Mandatory Documents

The TSC County Director must submit the following:

1. Duly Signed Offer of Employment File Copy
The file copy of the employment offer letter, signed by all relevant parties, serves as official confirmation of the employment agreement.

2. Certified Copies of Key Documents
a. National Identification Card: To verify the applicant’s identity.
b. Certificate of Registration as a Teacher: Proof of the applicant’s eligibility to practice teaching.
c. Academic Certificates: Evidence of educational qualifications.
d. Professional Certificates and Transcripts: To confirm professional competence.

e. Letter of Certification of Results by KNEC (if applicable): Required for applicants with KNEC-issued results.
f. NCPWD Card (if applicable): For candidates with disabilities.
g. Affidavit: Explaining any discrepancies in names under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act, Cap. 15.

h. Bank Plate/Card (Front Face): To facilitate salary payment.
i. KRA PIN Certificate: For tax compliance verification.
j. NHIF Card: To confirm enrollment in health insurance.

3. Two Passport-Size Color Photographs
These photographs are necessary for record-keeping and identification purposes.

4. Original Medical Examination Report (Form GP 69)
This document certifies the candidate’s physical fitness for the job.

5. Lists and Reports
a. A merit-based list of all interviewed applicants (Appendix III a).
b. A system-generated list of applicants who failed to attend the interview (Appendix III b).
c. A separate list of applicants with disabilities (Appendix VI).
d. Minutes from the Sub-County Selection Panel meeting, duly signed.
e. Completed selection score guides, signed by the panel.

6. Pay Point Particulars Form
This form provides necessary information for processing salary payments.
