The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has officially commenced the document verification exercise for candidates who applied for the recently advertised replacement vacancies in primary, junior secondary, and high school levels.
The exercise will be conducted across various sub-counties in the country starting from the 26th to the 30th of May 2025.
This verification marks a critical stage in the recruitment process and ensures that all shortlisted candidates meet the necessary qualifications and possess authentic documentation. Applicants are required to physically present both original and photocopies of essential documents during the verification process.
Required Documents
Candidates must carry the following documents to their respective verification centers:
National ID Card – A valid form of identification to verify the candidate’s identity.
Academic Certificates – Original and copies of KCPE, KCSE, and PTE certificates to prove academic qualifications.
School Leaving Certificates – From institutions attended, as part of background checks.
TSC Registration Certificate – Proof of registration with the Teachers Service Commission.
Affidavit of Names – If there are discrepancies in the names across the documents.
Two Passport-Sized Colour Photos – Recent photos for file identification.
Bank Plate and Bank Form – For salary processing details.
KRA PIN Certificate – From the Kenya Revenue Authority, required for tax compliance.
NSSF Number – To ensure enrollment with the National Social Security Fund.
Social Health Authority (SHA) Number – As per the new health coverage policies.
GP69 Medical Form – A medical report confirming physical fitness for the job.
Next of Kin Details – For emergency and administrative purposes.
Application and Commitment Letter – Copies of the submitted application and a letter of commitment to serve.
Birth Certificate – For age and identity verification.
All candidates are urged to report to their designated sub-county offices on the scheduled dates, as communicated via SMS. Verification will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. It is also advised that candidates organize their documents neatly to facilitate a smooth and quick process.
The TSC has emphasized that only those who complete this verification successfully will proceed to the final selection phase. Applicants who fail to present any of the required documents may be disqualified from the recruitment process.
