TSC Internship Recruitment: What Documents Applicants Must Present

As the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) rolls out the recruitment of teacher interns for the 2025/2026 financial year, applicants have been cautioned to prepare essential documents for verification.

During the interview and verification stages, candidates will be required to present both originals and photocopies of their national ID, TSC registration certificate, KCPE and KCSE certificates, diploma or degree certificates, transcripts, school leaving certificates, and any relevant testimonials. Teachers who re-sat national exams must present certificates for all attempts.

Applicants with discrepancies in names on different documents must provide an affidavit sworn under the Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act. Persons with disabilities are expected to present their NCPWD card to qualify for reserved slots.

Importantly, TSC warned that forged or fake documents will lead to immediate disqualification and possible deregistration. To further ensure fairness, provisional transcripts will not be accepted.

The Commission has urged applicants to carefully prepare their documents to avoid disqualification. With a strict checklist in place, the emphasis on authenticity underscores TSC’s commitment to maintaining integrity in teacher recruitment.
