The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has released the revised salary structure for Deputy Principals II and Senior Master I, Senior Lecturer I, Senior Curriculum Support Officers under Grade D2, also categorized as T-Scale 12.

This conversion reflects the updated salary points effective from July 1, 2023, and July 1, 2024, providing a clear framework for remuneration in line with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for 2021โ€“2025.

Salary Structure Effective July 1, 2023

The salary scale begins with a base monthly salary of Ksh 92,496 at Salary Point 1 and progresses incrementally to Ksh 112,633 at Salary Point 8. The increments are structured to ensure proportional rewards for the respective roles and responsibilities, considering the critical leadership positions held by officers in this grade.

Salary Structure Effective July 1, 2024

Effective from July 1, 2024, the revised basic salary maintains the same structured progression across eight salary points with minor adjustments reflecting changes in policy or economic factors. Salary Point 1 starts at Ksh 92,119, while the highest salary point, Point 8, is pegged at Ksh 112,633.
