As part of the 2025/2026 teacher promotions, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 346 vacancies for Curriculum Support Officers (CSOs) under T-Scale 10. These positions are crucial in strengthening curriculum implementation across the country.
Applicants must have served as Senior Teacher I or Secondary Teacher I (T-Scale 8) for at least three years. They must also demonstrate extensive classroom experience, curriculum knowledge, and the ability to support teachers in professional development.
CSOs serve as the link between the TSC and schools. Their responsibilities include monitoring curriculum delivery, guiding teachers on best practices, and ensuring compliance with national education policies. They also play a vital role in training teachers, especially in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), and monitoring performance under the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) system.
Applicants must apply through the TSC online portal by 25th August 2025 at midnight. Successful candidates will undergo interviews, and appointment is subject to submission of valid Chapter Six clearance documents.
The recruitment of nearly 350 CSOs reflects TSC’s commitment to improving the quality of education delivery at the grassroots level. By enhancing teacher support and curriculum monitoring, the commission aims to improve learning outcomes, accountability, and innovation in teaching practices.
This move has been welcomed by education experts, who note that curriculum implementation is one of the biggest challenges in schools. With more CSOs in place, teachers will receive better guidance, leading to improved academic performance nationwide.
