The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued a stern warning to applicants attempting to use forged or fake documents during the 2025/2026 internship recruitment. According to the guidelines, any applicant who presents false academic, professional, or personal documents will be disqualified immediately and may face deregistration as a teacher.
Applicants must provide authentic certificates, including KCPE, KCSE, diploma or degree documents, transcripts, and official TSC registration. Provisional transcripts will not be accepted. In cases where applicants’ names differ across certificates, an affidavit explaining the discrepancy will be required.
TSC Sub-County Directors will be tasked with verifying the authenticity of all documents before forwarding successful candidates’ details to the headquarters. Certified copies must be submitted alongside originals, and only applicants with complete documentation will proceed to signing internship agreements.
The Commission has also warned that fraudulent practices will be treated as criminal offences. This strong stance reflects TSC’s commitment to integrity and fairness in teacher recruitment.
The strict measures are intended not only to safeguard the credibility of the recruitment process but also to protect genuine applicants who compete fairly for limited internship opportunities.
